Michael Munnik - Album Launch

Canadian Cardiff-based singer-songwriter Michael Munnik releases his new album, If Words Could Mend a Heart, at the Canopi. Michael will perform songs from the new album alongside favourites from his catalogue, joined on stage by a series of guests. Love songs will be on the menu, as it is Valentine's Day, but Michael explores love in a range of ways on the album.

Opening the show will be Destan Dönemi, a Cardiff duo that weaves the sounds of traditional Turkish folk and contemporary acoustic guitar, building a musical bridge between East and West. The Canopi, just west of Cardiff Central Station, is the perfect central arts-forward location to take part in a special evening of music. Tickets are £7 advance, £8 at the door, and CDs will be available for sale.

Joining them will be the mighty @skankdiva, and soulful @gemmsmusic (with friends).
