SŴN, WALES’ LEADING MUSIC DISCOVERY FESTIVAL.

Sŵn is an award-winning, three-day, multi-venue new music festival that has been a cornerstone of Cardiff’s cultural landscape since 2008. With an unwavering commitment to showcasing new music and emerging talent, the festival is built to celebrate a diverse array of artists ranging from homegrown to international acts, in the artistic heart of Wales.

For three unforgettable days each year, the festival brings some of Cardiff’s best-loved venues and spaces together, transforming the city into a high octane hub for music fans and makers alike.

The 2025 edition of Sŵn Festival will be taking place on Thursday 17th to Saturday 18th October.

This year’s festival venues are Clwb Ifor Bach, Fuel, The New Moon, Tiny Rebel, Jacob’s Basement, The Canopi (The Sustainable Studio), Tramshed, St John’s Church (City Center) and Porter’s.

Sŵn is proudly part of Cardiff Music City Festival: a two week-long celebration of gigs, happenings, installations and pop-ups, harnessing the power of music, performance and tech to unite and inspire // cardiffmusiccityfestival.wales
