As part of Creative Cardiff’s PLAYBACK at The Canopi takeover, join us for a lunchtime session with Senior Technical Artist Matthew Squires, exploring the intersection of AI, gaming and the wider creative industries.
With more than 15 years’ experience creating 3D experiences across the games and film industries, Matthew has worked on a range of major games, films and TV productions, including Horizon Forbidden West, DJ Hero, Andor, Damsel, Secret Invasion and Invasion.
Currently a Senior Technical Artist at Detective Games, Matthew brings experience across environment art, props, vehicles, weapons, sculpting and hard surface work, alongside a strong interest in new techniques and technologies.
Join us for an informal lunchtime session to hear from Matthew about his experience working across the games industry and his perspective on the changing creative landscape, followed by a Q&A where there'll be an opportunity to ask your own questions.
Whether you work in games, film, animation, design, technology or another creative field, come along to hear from someone working at the intersection of art, technology and entertainment.
